MISSION FROM HEAVEN

A Savior Child is born to us today.
  Let us make a place
In our hearts, for him to stay.

He came from heaven to save mankind.
And he wants
To leave not one single soul behind.

Let us shed our callous attitude,
Live with love
And give others proper latitude.

May we pray that greed and war will cease.
Grant us grace
To work as neighbors and live in peace

ADVENT SEASON POEM

Glorious things on high unfold.
As prophets from of old had foretold.
A seed from the root of Jesse shall spring,
And from this seed, a savior God will bring.

The Angel gabriel to a maiden did appear.
And said to her, Mary, do not fear.
A savior Child you soon will bear.
And to him, then, give great care.

Care for him, teach him, tend his needs.
As he grows, teach him all his creeds.
Then, when he's grown, he'll make his decision,
To save mankind will be his Mission.

For us living  now we know,
Jesus' love for us he does bestow.
For us to be disciples, he does call,
To save mankind, one and all.

THE THRESHOLD

I close my eyes and open my mind.
I see a threshold, unique of its kind.
Looking beyond, from a cloud, hear a call.
Come, friend, take my hand, you‘ll not fall.

I’ve seen this place before, from a distance.
I was afraid, fearful, I felt a resistance.
Pondering , then, I saw through to a light.
Could I pass safely, what a beautiful sight!

I’m older now, and see it more clearly.
Thai voice in the cloud, I love it sincerely.
I’m ready now, Lord, I no longer delay.
Take my hand, and show me the way.

The threshold behind me, then, riding the cloud,
Oh, Jesus, my Lord, I’ll praise You aloud.
At last, I’ll realize Your love is so great,
By Your mercy, Lord, be this my fate.

A WHISPER

A whisper on high,
I hear it and sigh.
His call of love
Descends like a dove.

The quiet within
Stirs to answer Him.
His love, a breeze of the sea,
In my mind, I now do see.

With love I now pray,
Jesus, show me the way.
My prayers to heaven do fly.
Yours, Lord, forever am I.

But, when like Peter I fall,
The, Lord, to You I call.
Forgiveness, somehow,
I’m asking you now.

AWARENESS

To be aware of oneself is good
It comes with growth, that ‘s understood
By mother‘s side, we learned our prayers.
God’s blessings, yes, with us He shares.

When we were taught good from bad,
Good morals we learned, when just a lad
But, sometimes we cried, oh yes, we cried!
Oh, Lord, this thorn take from my side.

Then Jesus said, you have My grace.
You‘re strong enough, go finish the race.
In weakness, then, I am made strong
And in this race, I do belong.

Your presence, Lord, I am aware,
And in Your grace, I hope to share.
Awareness, as said St. Paul,
Your presence, Lord, it is my all.

TO MOTHER IN HEA VEN

Mother, it was you who gave me birth,
You who brought me to this earth.
You clothed me, fed me, taught me my prayers.
I love you, mother, for tending my cares.

When I went wrong and needed correction,
you set me right, without your rejection.
I remember, mother, those times did hurt,
But now l am glad, I’m now more alert.

When I was in school, you helped me to learn,
and you were firm, but yet not too stern.
You taught me in work to always be neat.
In all you do, in good conscience, don‘t cheat.

In all my lfe, mother, you ‘ye given so much.
You gave me life, love and all things as such.
And now, mother, I know where you are,
In heaven, with Blessed Mary, our Morning Star.
